A warm room inside, sun on the terrace
The Westernstadl sits in the middle of the Saalbach ski area, built from sustainably sourced timber, on a spot that speaks for itself. Inside it is snug and warm. On fine days the sun sits on the terrace all day, and the view over the valley is vast.
We cook plainly and without detours. What reaches the table should taste good and leave you full.
What to expect
The dining room
Hand-hewn reclaimed timber, warm light and seating across two floors. A place to come together.
The sun terrace
Long benches, deck chairs and a view that needs no describing. Step out of your skis, sit down, stay a while.
From our own farm
Most of our meat comes from our own farm. Short distances, known origin, no detour through a wholesaler.

Die Hütte ist einfach zum Weiterempfehlen. Immer ausgezeichnetes Essen, freundliches Personal, flotte Bedienung und das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt auch. Wir kommen jedes Jahr in einer größeren Gruppe und sind immer wieder von der Hütte begeistert. Unsere Jugendliche wollen nirgend wo anders essen als dort.
Man kann nichts besser machen. Wir hatten einen Tisch mit super Ausblick und köstlichem Essen. Der Aperol hat eine super Größe und die Bedienung ist super fix und sehr nett. Hier kann man sich gehen lassen und die Skipause vollends genießen
Achtung Skifahrer aufgepasst, wer ordentliches Essen bei super Atmosphäre und sehr nettem Personal sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Kein Halligalli wie sooft in diesem Skigebiet. Es gibt noch Normalos, kommen bestimmt wieder, danke.
